The Johannesburg Social Housing Company (JOSHCO) proudly announces our recent win at the prestigious Reside Summit. Riverside View project has been awarded the Silver Award in the Affordable Housing Development of the Year category for 2024. This accolade highlights our unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation in affordable housing.
The Reside Summit brought together industry leaders to explore innovative strategies, current trends, and collaborative opportunities in the residential sector. Our nomination and subsequent award victory underscore our dedication to creating sustainable, high-quality housing solutions for the community.
The Riverside View project, launched on August 25, 2023, addresses the backlog of affordable rental housing in the City of Johannesburg. The project is in its first phase, with 180 units due.
The fundamental objective of the Riverside View Social Housing Project is to empower low-income families and individuals from diverse backgrounds while providing adequate and affordable homes. This project demonstrates the City’s constant dedication to building a better future for residents, where
individuals can access safe, comfortable, and sustainable housing.

and community-focused amenities.
